Sourcing talent through social sources such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn allows recruiters to identify, attract, engage and hire potential candidates. Social Media sourcing is ideal to engage with passive candidates who haven't applied for current openings. We’ve reached the point where social recruiting isn't just a novelty - its a must for any successful recruiting strategy

Let's start with some advantages of leveraging social media sources to attract talent.

  • Increases Job Exposure - When you post through rezoomo you have the ability to also post on Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. If you only post your roles  to the job boards in the job network and your careers page if integrated you limit your reach to those who are actively searching these channels. Jobs posted on social media have better reach because they are visible to a larger audience which may include passive candidates also.

  • Improves employer branding - Social media gives you the ability to promote your company culture and showcase your current staff. Bring to life what it's like to work for you and why they should be considering you as an employer. 

  • Helps you to engage with passive candidates - The use of social media can prompt someone who may not actively be on the look out for roles take an interest in your brand and what you have to offer. The more engagement you have through these sources such as likes, comments and shares the better reach you will have to these passive candidates who may not be looking for a role change, yet!

  • Reduce time to fill - Because you are maximising exposure of your brand and roles through social mediums you increase your chances of securing talent for these roles quicker as you have cast your net to a wider audience.

  • You can be creative with your content - outside the job posts that will go out automatically through Rezoomo you have the freedom to be as creative as you like with the content you share on this source. Use images, videos, articles, content (Employee testimonials, a day in the life  etc.), memes - whatever you like and think will capture the attention of talent.

How to integrate social media through Rezoomo to enable social sourcing

The first thing you need to do is link your Company social media profiles to Rezoomo!
Navigate to your setup guide down the bottom left hand corner of your screen when logged in 

Select the tab labelled "Company Integrations"

Ensure you are in the "Social" section

You will now be presented with the below page. In order to link your Facebook and Twitter pages you need to click connect and input your company details to fininish the setup

Now once you have completed the above this means that when posting a new job you will be able to tick a box within the job description form to ensure that the post will also go out to your companies Facebook and Twitter Feeds. Seen below is an example of what this looks like, you simply need to ensure you tick the box and if you want to change the text to be tailored to the social platform or job you have the option to do so. 

You may also notice that within the job description form that LinkedIn appears although it doesn't in the setup guide section. This is because LinkedIn will only allow you to post to your own personal LinkedIn page so when posting a job you have the option of this also. You simply need to connect with your personal details. We would recommend not to overlook this despite it being on your personal profile as your colleagues can like and share this post and again increase exposure.

And that's it you have now integrated you social media forums with Rezoomo and are ready to start capturing talent via that additional exposure right away.
